About us
Since 1994, Acquisition Origination Services Ltd (AOS) has acted as an outsourced origination arm and negotiator for a number of leading Private Equity and other financial buyers.
AOS predominantly focuses on sourcing and helping acquire transactions (often off-market) within the UK, Europe and overseas.
Acquisitions have been successfully sourced and acquired by and via AOS in Europe, the US and the UK.
AOS combines an active off-market approach as well as leveraging its strong intermediary network.
Deal Sourcing and Advisory Services
AOS specialises in largely contingent only outsourced origination - finding unique transactions, tailored to fit credible acquirors acquisition criteria.
Searches are bespoke and typically AOS acquirors are Private Equity Investors, Private Investment Offices, or selected MBI candidates.
Search activities tend to be typically focused on older economy sectors such as manufacturing, assembly, distribution and construction.
Significant effort, time, expertise and cost is expended on tailor-made searches, however, for the main part, AOS acts on a contingent only arrangement, provided AOS is comfortable as to the deliverability credentials of prospective acquirers.
Fees are charged on a Lehman based fee scale rate of 5, 4, 3, 2 and 1% on £1 million tranches of the target EV, with a minimum fee of £75,000.

Working on behalf of a London based private equity organisation, AOS adopted a targeted origination approach resulting in the successful acquisition of a specialist harsh environment electric motor manufacturer from a corporate vendor. The resultant successful BIMBO acquisition via AOS produced money multiples of c.4x funds invested.
